In 2016, Grenfell celebrates 150 years! This is the year to be part of history.
Before the discovery of gold in 1866, the Grenfell area was well known as a haunt for bushrangers, in particular Ben Hall. Today, Grenfell is far less infamous, being the birthplace of Australian bush poet Henry Lawson, tennis player Jan Lehane and cricketer Stan McCabe.
